Odette grew up in South Dakota where she was a certified nurses aide for 3 years. She subsequently switched gears and became a pre-school teacher and a nanny for several years. Odette relocated to Oregon in 1998 and in 2003 she chose to pursue a career in Massage
Therapy at Ashmead college In Tigard, Oregon.
She graduated with Honors in 2004, passed both National and State Board exams, and got licensed.
Odette opened her own practice at the Parkway Mind Body Wellness center in Wilsonville and has been there for almost 4 years. Since graduating she has taken several continuing education classes, including the three attunements required to become a Reiki Master, a form of energy healing. But what Odette is best known for, is having a firm pressure, doing therapeutic deep tissue, and treating specific injuries or tension areas.
She has worked closely with other body workers, such as chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, psychologists, personal trainers, energy healers, and other massage therapists, in order to glean as much information and knowledge as she can. Her goal is to be able to offer her clients an overall balance of mind and body in every treatment .
Odette maintains a busy practice and volunteers her time at a local senior center. She enjoys painting in watercolor in her spare time. She absolutely loves being a massage therapist, and hopes to pass on that love and light to all whom she may touch.
